I made lately a very low in alumina and silica glaze on peruse. When I
will have slides of my recent works I shall explain it more.
Your glaze looks very strange- if I take ^6 as the middle the CaO is
very high and the rest are too low. How does the glaze looks like? Will
I not regret testing it ( After finishing my own 50 or so tests this
week)?

Hi Hal,

Ababi is right that this glaze has a very unusual composition. It is
almost certainly very unstable and should not be used on functional
work without thorough testing. It also has a very high calculated
expansion coefficient and may craze on many clay bodies. You might
consider adding these points to your notes when you disseminate glazes
of this nature.

Regards,

John

for success this glazde should be tested, however most of my work is hand
built sculpture for the gareden and the effect of the glaze is perfect for what i
want
