FedEx is the service that delivered my
Peter Pugger in record time, safe and
sound....... delivery guy was very helpful
with placement etc.

We have had no problem with FedEx since
we straightened out the concept of "the part
of the driveway nearest the house; not by
the gate." That was years ago. =20

I'm sorry to hear about others' difficulties and
hope they get it all worked out satisfactorily
........ but
this is the case here in the desert. By the
way, we find UPS equally fine.

Joyce
In the Mojave full of cheerful tidbits ....
surrounded
by clay books, videos, clayart posts that I
had to print, a westie wanting me to go
outside with her, walkers, wheelchairs (well,
singular, one of each), medicines containers
in large,
lovely pottery
bowls (not mine: claybuds' mostly), towels
all over (thank the towel fates ..... we go
through a couple laundry loads of towels
daily), the aroma of clorox (which isn't
appreciated until you need it), the sound of
a ball going bouncebounce off the back of
the couch next to the computer, babywipes
on desks, tables throughout the house, furniture
piled wherever to clear a path for said walker
and wheelchair ...... overhead fans whirring ......
it's a good life ..... for it's clearly not lifeless......
thank God.... friends still come into this
unusual chaos
(I've had control of my house and time
management for years so that's not a problem.)
commenting that they "like your house." Not
fancy, nor luxurious, believe me, but
decidedly Ours in every part of every room.
Right now it reflects where we are on this
part of the journey. I'm beginning to Get It.

Well..."knock-on-wood", I have shipped many hundred parcels,
some big and awkward and heavy, with the 'fed-ex' and
neither I nor the recipients have suffered any
disappointments.

I shipped a 1952 RCA Tee-Vee in it's metal faux woodgrain
Cabinet as weighed easily a hundred pounds and was near
three foot square when packed..and ( sigh of relief) it got
to it's destination in Texas just fine...

I expect sooner or later, there will be some mishap, but so
far, good, generous packaging, the terms "HAND CARRY ONLY"
writ in bold Roman Capitals when appropriate, and some luck,
may continue to prevail...
