Does anyone on the list have this wheel? If so, observations,
comments? I despair of finding anything used; and price is
important. I tried one quite briefly, it is light weight, but
might do for home needs.

Buy a new one.
Be sure you can get it serviced. (occasional calibrating/rebalancing) should
sit on a solid surface like a cement floor to stablize any wobble.

The Brents I've used in schools are used day in and day out for
conservatively a decade or more. They are dependable. Don't under buy the
horsepower of the motor. Any supplier breaks down on spec the machines
tolerances. Make sure the motor will turn more clay than you anticipate
using.
