Sounds like a good idea but unfortunately heating rocks to high =
temperatures tends to destroy them, so you finish up with a pile of =
fragments.
Why not select examples that excite you and recreate their forms, =
textures and colours with clay and glaze. Many ways to do this. Moulded =
slabs, Throw and alter, Coil build. Remember to leave a small aperture =
to allow for gas expansion when you fire them.
