how does clayart digest work?

updated sun 24 aug 03

I've finally decided to try the digest. I get one email with all the
subjects for the day listed.
I was told I could just click on one and it would come up - that does not
work for me.
What must I do?

Hi Kurt,

There are several variations of the daily list. The HTML Index will let
you click individual subjects and bring up an archive page - here's a link
to your original post:

Word wrap may have screwed up the link, I can't tell until after I post
it. If so, copy and paste the pieces into your browser. Once you've got
the archive page, click on the button with the little people and red
arrows. You'll be prompted to sign in, then you'll get a page that lets
you alter your Clayart settings. Under Subscription Type you'll see a
variety of choices. What you have in mind may be the HTML Digest or the
HTML Index. Pick one, click the update button; see how it works the next
day and either go with it or go back and try another one. Let me know if
you'd like me to forward a sample of what I get.

whenever I signed up with clayart a program called
"logreader" was downloaded from the clayart site (at U KY I
think). I find it indispensable for the digest. it allows me
to sort by author or subject or both. just highlight the
article and click on "go to the article"
Perhaps there are other programs that do the same.
