In rely to all the post reference the safety of chemicals. It is easy to
find on line the material safety data sheets on all chemicals. I usually do
a web search using http://www.google.com all you have to do is put in
the question? Example Material Safety Data Sheets for lithium carbonate?
Follow the link and you will fine all the information that one would want to
know about the safety of the chemical in question, the toxicity levels if
any, the required handling requirements, etc. It only takes a few minutes to
get the data you need.
No industry in the USA is allowed to ship or receive chemicals with out
supplying the MSDS with the shipment. If you are working with chemicals it
is the responsibility of both the supplier and the user to be aware of the
safety required for the product.
