gas kiln vs electric/ once more with feeling

One of the prime and surely the first and second considerations in deciding
is:

1. Will the utility, the fire dept. the building dept, the zoning board,
your insurance co. allow you to get and have all you need for a gas kiln?

2. Will the utility, the electrician, the zoning board, the fire dept. your
insurance company allow you to get, have etc what you need for an electric
kiln?

Ah the sad (co$tly) stories we have heard from people who skipped 1 & 2.

Ah, yes. There is always to government at large to consider. From what I
hear, and what I intend to double check on, I can have a gas kiln.
Checking the utilities is something I still need to check on.

With electric, I will most likely have a separate electrical box in the
studio. Hubby wouldn't mind getting his table saw on a 220 also.

Thank you so much for the advice. Hindsight is, indeed, a great teacher,
and one to whom we must pay great attention.
