Hmmmm. In the same way Locherbie and Thomas Stuart kickwheels can
be motorized, I wonder if your zen dream of a flywheel could be retrofitted
with an electric motor assist? Heresy?

Just a thought.

Hi Jerremy, and all...

Certainly any 'Kick-Wheel' may be fitted with some fashion
of Electric Motor.

What begins to be the disappointment quite soon, is the
manner of having different speeds.

The inertia of the large flywheel is the challenge, if one
wants speeds faster than those for making Pulls.

Which for me was an occupation of various reveries in making
prospective designs for them...that is, 'how' to deal with
that aspect.

It is a very simple matter to merely have an Electric Motor
with some rubber 'nub' on it's arbor's end to engage in a
on-or-off 'tilt', the Fly Wheel's rim...another matter
entirely if one wants a range of speeds.
