Greetings y'all, and I apologize in advance if this has reached you =
twice.

This is a note to announce the second in a series of PMC workshops =
here at Living Tree Pottery in Summerfield, NC. (If you love jewelry, =
THIS is definitely for you!!!) =20

For those of you not familiar with PMC, it is a clay-like substance =
formed from a mixture of fine silver powder and organic binder. When =
fired, the binder burns out leaving 0.925 fine silver behind. :) We had =
a workshop with this material earlier this summer and it was EXTREMELY =
fun! =20

The next workshop will continue the fun by adding Dichroic Glass to the =
mix. We'll be making pendants and other pieces using PMC and adding =
Dichroic glass to them. They're fired together at the same time, so the =
PMC holds the glass in place. =20

What is dichroic glass? It is a kiln-formed glass with at least two =
colors and usually some foil or silvery stuff inside. VERY pretty. You =
will be able to choose your own glass pieces to work with. You can see =
images of dichroic glass on Ebay.

This will be a two day workshop because of the way the pieces have to be =
fired. On the first day (Saturday morning, 9:30 - 12:30), we'll form =
our pieces and set them to dry, and they'll be fired in the afternoon. =
On the second day, (Sunday afternoon, 2-4pm) we'll polish and finish the =
pieces. You'll leave with at least one beautiful pendant, ready to =
wear.

Cost for the workshop is $60 which includes 1 pkg PMC and 1/4 jar of =
paste and a CZ. Cost of glass (which you will choose on site) is extra, =
and will range from about $6 to $10 depending on the size of the piece.

To register, go to http://www.living-tree.net/schedule.htm and look for =
the PMC/DICHROIC workshop. :)

Thanks,

Lisa
