OK, my Glaze Quest is more than I expected and I'm ready to bite the bullet
and look for software. One person on the list made a suggestion, but using
Jeeves I can't find a page for -- I don't know Mel, can I say the product name?
-- GlazeChem software.

I'm open for suggestions and folks, you can do it privately, off the list, so
I don't clutter up the postings.

And Mel, I AM one of those people with cone 6 on the bottom, cone 5 in the
middle and cone 4 on the top. There, I said it and I own it!!! In the future
I'll be working with a kiln with ONE set of burners at school.

The kiln I have been using has two sets and I was told it was a challenge to
fire -- my system is to try the hardest, then work towards the easier method.
I don't know, a glutton for frustration you might say. But I have been
getting good results.

At this stage I have become a 'Counter' in the ways of production. How much
clay do I need for a 12 inch plate, how long does it take to throw a decent
bowl, now I have to start looking at the keepers from the firings.

Anyway, glaze software -- any suggestions?

Now to try to figure out these posts of fast firings -- I do know that I fire
a 'Hard Reduction' as one of my teachers ponted out. When I see that Green
Flame I know the Kiln Gods are smiling and what a thrill that is.
