OK , one last shameless plug for our event at the Nottingham Center for
the Arts in San Marcos, CA.
( that's north San Diego county California folks).

On July 5th. we will have another pit fire party here at the Nottingham
Center. The pit is 36 feet long, 6 ft. wide, and 5 ft. deep. A huge
pit. Folks will be arriving in the early afternoon to decorate their
pots and we will start loading it around 3-4 p.m. At sunset, we will
light off the 4+ cords of wood in the pit for one heck of a bonfire.
Then folks will start bbq'ing chicken, stakes, or whatever to accompany
the potluck dishes. We will have lots of coolers full or beer and wine.
Fire rings to hang out at with all sorts of craftspersons, music, videos
of potters in the main studio, and demonstrations of glass blowing in
the new hot glass shop.

All are wellcome and a fun time will be had by all. It's a great time to
meet other potters, wood workers, glass blowers, and sculptors from all
over the region.

There is onsite camping and RV space as well. Also many inexpensive
motels close by.

We will meet old and new friends and have a wonderful time. Sunday
morning we will unearth the pit to see lots of great pots over coffee
and munchies.

You can email me directly at tsullivan@nottinghamarts.org or just show
up for the fun.

Directions and such are on our web site: www.nottinghamarts.org
