writeing and cashing 'checks'...

Hi Stephani,

Reminds me...

A nice endorsement, just on principle
anyway, is for a check vested in one's name to be re-vested
or signed over to 'Bearer'...

As one signs a rec'd check, pay-check or whatever, as has
been made out payable to one's self, one signs one's
name on the back, and then also writes 'in favor of', or
'to'..."Bearer"

... which makes it an open-insturment cashable
by or to ANY 'Bearer'...makes it an open insturment and a
second party check at that point, which so long as you
retain it, the second party can be you.

Also any checks you may write to yourself, may be made out
to "Bearer" and cashed with no additional endorsement or
signature or I.D.

... If the 'teller' presses you, or a Bank Manager
presses you on the matter, you need only sign the word
"Bearer" on the back of the check, as co-responds to the
vesting on the front. No signature is required
under the law or any other consideration so far as I know,
and I have never researched the statutes or Banking Laws in
this matter, but I began this merely as a bluff years ago
and have enjoyed it as I please ever since. They may bluff
and
bluster and pout all they like, and they may 'like' too...

I have argued this off and on with Bank Managers for decades
now and I have 'won' every timee, too. Sometimes they call
New York
or whatever, march around or make several calls, and come
back long faced or testy or sullen, and...they
conceed...they accept it just as I say, and as they
appearently are obliged
TO do too.

One may also employ the phrase "Bearer On Demand"...

Anyway...it is there if you want it...
