I'm traveling to Asheboro this next week for a visit and would appreciate
the names and locations of potters in this area of North Carolina. Thanks
in advance for any great suggestions.

Will Ruggles and Douglas Rankin of Rock Creek Pottery in Bakersvill and
Cynthia Bringle at Penland are must sees. About 1 1/2 hours from Ashville.
Probably 100+ potters in the area.

Don't get confused, tho. The first person asked about AsheBORO, not
AsheVILLE. AsheVILLE is on the order of 3+ hours from AsheBORO. The
original poster of this thread, whose name I obviously can't remember, will
be about 20 minutes north of Seagrove when he gets to AsheBORO.

Just ride down the road 220S 11 miles south of Asheboro to Seagrove 120
potters any style that you would ever see.

Stop in and see my good friends David and Deborah Garner At Turn and Burn
Pottery. He is a fifth generation potter, beautiful work!!
