I've had such an incredibly positive experience with
Skutt that I had to share it.

I was considering the purchase of a used kiln I found
on one of the various pottery related discussion
internet sites. I was hoping to find out what a good
price might be, what questions I should ask the seller
and what do look for in evaluating it. I called Skutt
hoping they might be willing to help me out but not
expecting too much consideration since I was planning
on buying a used, not a new kiln.

Was I pleasantly surprised! Neil at Skutt spent a good
bit of time with me on two separate calls patiently
answering all my questions and telling me things to
look for that I would never have known on my own. He
as just as friendly and helpful when I called him
after my purchase (since he said "let me know how it
goes"), inviting me to call anytime I had any
question. I can't recall the last time someone at a
company shared their expertise so freely or made me
feel so much like a friend. That's what I call
customer service! Thanks Neil!
