Ho boy what a day.

Today was my first try at teaching 4th, 5th, and 6th graders clay. Barb
and I are teaching a total of 4 ten day clay classes to gifted students
from Waco and the surrounding communities. The classes are part of
University for Young People run by Baylor's Center for Community
Learning and Enrichment (http://www3.baylor.edu/SOE/CCLE/ click on
UYP.). For the next two weeks we will have ~23 students learning pinch
pots and slab building. I had a lot of fun today, and I think the kids
liked it too. As soon as I remind Barb to bring her digital camera, I
will put up some pictures.

I am hoping that we create a few mud bugs from all this.

Tomorrow is another day!

Taylor, in Waco.
