what about smelly glaze?

Somehow, in the hubbub of 'nceca', or rather post 'nceca'
homelife, I had neglected to clean out the swell little tin
plated steel lined with an ice compartment 1916 'Pik-Nik'
Refridgerator-Basket...

By which time ( two days ago...) the half pound of 'Havarti'
Cheeze, the sundry Grapes and Fruits and cardboard carton of
'Half-n-half' had, in the nicely sealed confines of their
pooled oooze, become really quite anaerobicly nasty.

I can hold my breath quite well, and still got the
'dry-heaves' for some time off and on after...I'd run
outside and take a big breath...come 'in' to the sink and
scrub some more with Bleach and Water, or 'Pinesol' and
Water...and...

Got it cleaned out just fine...

But it was bad...real bad...

Had to wash them clothes right after that from the smells
having got in them...

Anyway...

Good luck all in any kindred adventures!

Whew!

There is one glaze I use that smells absolutely horrid. I
mean worse
than my 2 year olds diapers. I need a mask in order to use
the stuff.
I'm sure it's because of the 2 stains I use generously in
it, as I use
this same base with other stains and no problem. I don't
want to stop
using it because man, do I get a gorgeous color, and it's
very well
behaved.

any suggestions? I would try bleach, but i admit to
sticking my hand
in the bucket and would like to about it.

at our studio we had a Tomato Red that was notorious for foul odor
about a quarter cup of ammonia once a week seemed to keep it in check

Mine is a tomato red. I am guessing its the stain, which is Cerdec
encapsulated. I don't have this problem with any other stains.
