fool proof element check
use a 12 volt or 6 battery charger
hook on one clamp rake along the element
(gunk on the elements will give some resistance so a scrape helps)
spark = live element or more along till you find your break
and repair
plus you are only paying with 12 volts so no danger there
(im sure most of you have figured this out already)
