Dear Julie,

Thank you so much for such a quick response to my post asking about =
mesquite ash and to those who responded with similar offers. On an =
overcast day in Chicagoland your tidy box of ash brought rays of =
sunshine into my studio. I am moving along on a load to fire soon and =
can use a bit of this to experiment on glazes. I saw Tom Coleman at a =
workshop and he uses it sometimes for a crystal type effect on some of =
his work. I am also thinking of mixing a couple ash glazes featuring =
this as the ingredient. I am willing to send you the amount it cost to =
mail. Your note did not have any information letting me know how much =
or where to, otherwise, thanks for the gift.

Thanks to you and all who subscribe to Clayart for your support and =
encouragement. Today the support meant a world of difference to me.

Regards,

Mary O'Connell

Good afternoon Mary!

Very good news the mesquite ashes made it to you in good time! I've dropped
you a private note with the shipping costs and my return address.

Most of all I am thrilled to be of service. Clayart and it's wonderful
archives has been a substantial educational aid that I've relied on heavily.

And I can hardly wait to hear how the ash performs for you!

Have a happy time glazing
