Sammy Nicely of Atlanta , GA is a wonderful potter... He is an active
member of the Piedmont Craftsmen Guild located in Winston -Salem NC and a
member of Southern Highland Craftsmen Guild headquartered in Asheville NC.
He does some teaching in the school systems thru residency programs I
think it is ?? Not really sure but he does incredible mask work that
you just gotta see and HAVE , it is fairly contemporary work and he is too
I'd guess in his 40's..
Larry Allen from also a Guild member is from Birmingham Al.... and
there is a SC potter that will be at the Sanford show in NC this weekend
name of Eugene dont know last name.. good stuff if this is the fella I got
to talk with at last yrs sanford pot fest..
