This won't help you now but if you hang in there, I have an article accepted
for publication by CM on the work of Bruce Cochrane. Bruce is recognized by
the likes of Ron Meyers as "Da man" when it comes to making oval casseroles.
The ones at his show at Prime measured almost 3 feet long. In the wisdom of
the CM staff they asked Bruce to submit photos of making oval casseroles and
to add his thoughts and philosophy of pot making to my article. This was a
relief to me, as I recognize my writing is casual, informal and I was
worried that without my ability to use artspeak they would not take his work
seriously. I think he is one of the top craftspeople in North America. Many
potters think likewise.
Hang in there!
cheers,
Tony
