crawling purple

Any chance that you got ahold of magnesium carbonate
by any chance? Purple/Crawling. Didn't pay too much
attention to the formula so I would suspect if that
was the case it would be in high percentages.

TiO2 with cobalt gives green under the right
conditions. My 3-D blue works off that premise. See my
website for examples.

No, the recipe definitely calls for cobalt. As I said,
my friends test
batch did come out green (she was hoping to get my
purple crawl, I
wanted the green).
