euporic aftermath of nceca

All the messages about NCECA reflect the prevailing mood that exists for me. Their thinking follows what I feel regarding the Clayart family. No getting lost in a crowd with that orange sticker. No feeling shy(moi, never :D) or alone.

I personally wish that I could have been 3 people in order to make it to many more of the programs, still have lots of times to browse the vendor's room, and do more socializing. Fun again to meet cyber friends, the shenanigans of that first evening in the Clayart room. Had lunch with Ann Semple, exchanged mugs, and would now like to thank Joan Klotz for her mug with the running fox and faster running hen. There was no email address. I did not get a contact with the person that received my mug. I am glad that an exchange list was made--again lots of gratitude to the 'muggets' for their efficiency.

There were other people that I would like to have met--Merrie Boerner, Linda Blossom, Feric, ---and many more whose paths did not cross mine. So, we have next year in Indianapolis--and some of us are already doing a countdown.

Time to put my hands back in clay. (:>)

I am sure Joan must have explained about her pun mug of the fox after the
hen, HENCECA - (hen-seek-a). We became friends when I contacted her about
buying her old kiln, she ended up making me an offer I couldn't refuse, I'll
leave it at that. I ran into at Nottingham and was able to give her tghe pot
I had promised her earlier, when we met for the kiln exchange. She is a real
nice person. Quite intelligent, even if she is a female! I wish I could have
met more Clayarters. I think everyone should get a chance to say a word
about themselves and give their name and where they are from. Kinda like
going round the room in a class on the first day. Does that sound too corny
or time consuming?
