I got Gary Holt's teabowl in the exchange, I didn't get to meet him - so
Gary, thanks for the wonderful pot.

In a little side trading I also got one of mayor mel's teabowls,
eautiful - I'm so happy to have it. And then I scored again with a Russel
cup. I came home with 3 wonderful pots.

One of the highlights of the conference for me was listening to Malcolm
Davis talk in the "Staying Alive" panel discussion. What a hoot. Shinos have
taken over my life and I've got to find a way to take one of his workshops.
Or maybe I just need an intervention.

Back to making pots.

Hi Connie... you're welcome... glad you liked it. I was wondering who got
it. This was my first NCECA and I didn't realize how early one had to begin
lining up for the clayart exchange - I probably missed you entirely if you
were near the head of the line. Interesting that "shinos have taken over
your life" and then you draw a shino glazed cup. You probably don't need an
intervention, just more time to play with shinos. You're welcome to the
recipe for the shino on my cup if you'd like it... let me know..... Gary
