what feldspar to use in a clay

Hey Annapoorna,
In general soda spars have a lower melting point than potash spars. of the
potash spars I would go with G-200. It what I used most often through
school. Of the soda spars I've used Kona F-4, and NC #4. Also, if you want a
white body you may consider adding a frit in small amounts (5-12%) to get it
to become vitreous. I have a formula for a cone six clay body I developed
when I was in school it is a warm orange tone with green highlights. If your
interested I try to find where I put the recipe. Good luck.
