I've made a few slight changes in the workshop schedule for 2003.
Here's the Update:
May 10-11: Linda Blossom: "Architectural Ceramics: Tiles & Sinks".
Learn how to hand-build sinks, countertops, window & door surrounds. Firing
and glazing techniques. Demo and Hands-on workshop. Fee: $150.
June 21-22: Sylvie Granatelli: "Thrown & Altered Functional Ware and Surface
Treatment". Demo and Hands-on workshop. Fee $150.
July 18-20: Catherine Merrill: " A Passion for the Figure"
Creating dynamic and expressive figurative clay forms. 3-day Hands-on
workshop including constructing large figures and glazing on greenware tiles.
July 21-22: Two Day Open Studio to continue working on figures. No
Sept 13-14: Mel Jacobsen: "Potpourri - 30 years of Techniques."
Learn all kinds of throwing styles....basic, hump, Japanese. Everything you
to know to become a proficient potter.
Demo. Fee $130.
Oct 18-19: Ellen Shankin: "Thrown & Altered Vessels"
Watch Ellen push, paddle, scrap and alter thrown forms. Demo. Fee: $150.
