If one were to place the side of the pug clay on the potters wheel then =
problem of S crack will be avoided.
The S crack comes from placing the cut off end of the pug on the potters =
wheel. It originates from the middle section of the pug because the =
auger is in the center. It doesn't receive as complete compression as =
the surrounding areas.
