last chance for stay-at-home mug exchange

I'm compiling the final list of exchangers this weekend, so now is
your last chance to get in or out.

If you have already signed up for the exchange, please consider
carefully whether you are going to have a "mug" ready to mail by
March 12. If you discover that you hate all your pots, or that your
kiln is broken, or that your dog ate your favorite glaze recipe, or
that you are having a personal crisis and don't have time to think
about it, or that you are too busy with work or school to make pots,
or whatever, THERE IS NO SHAME IN BACKING OUT NOW!

Please, if you cannot be sure that you will be able to follow through,
just send me an email (candle@intrex.net) and say "Take me off
the list". That's all you need to do, no questions asked, no hard
feelings.

On the other hand, if you wait until you have been matched with a
partner, and then back out, you will be "leaving them at the altar"
and this inevitably causes hard feelings, disappointment,
bitterness, etc. Every year, a few people are left feeling bad
because they sent a mug and got nothing in return. Let's try to be
sure that doesn't happen this year, OK?

Thanks,

Chris Schafale
