On my our way back to the arctic North from the frigid South, we stopped by
Lisa Skeen=B9s studio. I highly recommend a stop if you are in the
neighborhood. I was able to purchase two pots, one of Charlie and Linda
Riggs that I was craving ever since I saw the calendar, and one of Lisa=B9s.
The curator at our gallery would call these =B3extremely modestly priced=B2. I
am thrilled to have been able to add these works of art to my growing
collection.

My husband bought a really cool kaleidoscope made from crystal with an oil
suspension. I think we=B9ll be ordering more of those in the future. They
make great gifts for =B3the impossible to find gifts for since they have
everything=B2.

Lisa=B9s studio is really neat and worth a visit.

On my way down in May, I hope to visit the Potters of the Roan. I guess
I=B9ll have to start squirreling my money away now. :)

Hey, Thanks Elizabeth. Glad you enjoyed the space, even tho it's frigid =

the pipes are frozen at the moment. :( I've been carrying Charlie and
Linda's work since I opened and it's cuz I love it - and them. If you ca=
n
get down for their workshop with Wally Asselberghs (sp?) in (I think) Mar=
ch,
you'll have a good time. :) Charlie just built a fantabulous new studio.

Hi Elizabeth,
I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to NC!. Lisa is a great person to visit and does
have a cool shop and workspace.

Sounds like our pot got a good home. We love it when potters like our
work....that's the highest of complements. Thanks.
Linda and Charlie
