I am currently trying to find info. on cone six soda kilns. Is there anyone
out there fireing at the cone 6 temps? I was planning on building a cone 6
salt 40-50 cubic foot salt kiln, but have reconsidered due to the close
proxcimity of my nieghbor. ( I do not want to bother them),my question is ,
is cone 6 hot enough to get similar results as cone 10-11? Can any one help!

I fire a lot of my work in cone 6 soda and I love the results. Just find
some good cone 6 liner glazes, and experiment with cone 6 glazes on the
outside. Make sure you use a good cone 6 claybody so it matures at that
temperature. Feel free to email me if you have specific questions.

There is information on ^6 soda firings in Ruthanne Tudball's book on
Soda Firing.
I was doing ^2 firing at the bray and liked the results on my terra sig
