I can't figure out how to show you on Yahoo like Bamboo Karen anything
bigger than a thumbnail, so if you want to see a womans work e-mail me. I
took some pictures of Sheila making a paper boat today. Paper clay, 34"long
(our kiln shelves are 32") the boats have a hull made from a slab on a
plaster mold, side walls extruded from our Venco pugmill( we vice grip a
template on the end), thrown footring, and pulled and altered handles. We
don't give a diddlely damn about what process it takes to get the form we
want. sometimes it takes pulling every trick outta the hat.
there is also a photo of her two days of making our cane handles. they are
very time consuming. I was in the house vaccummng and cooking my Canneloni
and red hot chicken wings.
A man's work is never done!
Cheers,
Tony
