Diane
there are many hotels near the conference hotel itself, and in
surrounding San Diego
area.... all of the major chains, for example, as well as independent
motels and hotels.

Check hotels in in 'Hotel Circle', especially Hotel Circle , north...
San Diego is a spring Break destination, but the city is also pretty
good at handling a lot of visitors

as for flights, all major airlines fly here.... check for internet
deals. Play around with dates to find a flight opening. Also check
flights to Los Angeles and connections there, if you aren't finding a
budget rate flight directly to San Diego.

Good luck1

Diane, I don't know about flights, but when I called the Town & Country for
reservations and they said they were full, I asked "Who's next door?" and
they said the Quality Resort is holding a block of rooms @$120, and they are
a 5 minute walk away, so that's where my husband and I will be staying.

Their number is 800-362-7871.

Good firings!
Ann Brink in CA, excited about going to my first NCECA. I've been going to
my husband's Navy ship reunions for years, listening to sea stories- now
he's coming with me to NCECA, and will hear clay stories!

Dear Clayarters:
There is some terrific problem
with my email and clayart.
I can post to the list and all I get now is
digest.
I have solved my NCECA problems
and offlist helpful folks solved my dilemma
(as usual).
I have opted for the Alabama conference.
We will save 500+ USD.
And I'll pray I can afford to go to baltimore
NCECA....Thanks for advice & help.
out here in no-clayart land,
diane
