If it's displayed and not used for food....fine. If it's handled to =
admire it or show it off....fine.

Don't sit on it for days at a time. Don't grind it up and eat it. =
Don't tape it to your head and wear it as a piece of jewelry. Tongue in =
cheek, because when people hear "radioactive" they STP. (Shit Their =
Pants)
Natural potassium isotopes ( background radiation) will give you more =
exposure per year than a really beautiful uranium glaze that is worth =
displaying in a ceramic collection.

In the glass world, uranium glasses are coming back..(..to a small =
degree. ) We're taking risks all day long !!! Be informed, be educated. =
Don't over-react and be paranoid.
Whenever I hear the "glow in the dark" line I shake my head. It usually =
means the person doesn't know what they're talking about.=20
__________

Making and using uranium glazes is a totally different situation. Unless =
you're trained and knowledgeable, the hazards are far beyond what should =
even be considered for a casual potter or ceramic artist.
