Janet..I'm so sorry to hear that your hands are where you hurt.

Get better, listen to the doctors, keep reading Clayart and when you are
better, come back..we'll be here waiting.
Your loving gifts of information, encouragement, education, love plus the
occasional scolding will be missed by all of us.

Isn't it that a fact? No blathering from me at all since Christmas or so
far this year! :-) And I am only spoiling it briefly now for a reason...

Although you will not hear me, it is only fair to warn, forearm or
otherwise make known that I will continue with my daily Clayart Fix and
will be listening to what you are saying and watching what you are all
doing!

I take a great interest in (almost) everything on Clayart and enjoy every
exchange, HOWEVER, my "carpal tunnel syndrome" is actually only one symptom
of a pretty violent, first-time rheumatoid attack which is now affecting
each and every joint in my body. At least that is what the Doc "thinks" it
is and I will probably have to wait some weeks or months before seeing a
specialist. In the meantime, the "little peas" in my swollen sausage-like
fingers make typing sheer hell and even talking is now a torture, although
it must be said my jaw was/were the last joint(s) in my body to seize up! I
had forgotten we have joint in the skull and the ribs are attached to the
vertebrae... Anyway, whatever the cause, the bottom line is that I am more
or less in communicado.

So dear Friends (especially those of you amongst the 168 unanswered e-mails
in my in-box) and Foes alike, PLEASE have a very happy, healthy and
creative 2003. May all your (clay) dreams come true and may the Doves of
Peace win!

Most sincerely yours

Janet Kaiser - On the 12th Day of Christmas and still not got the icing on
the 2002 Gingerbread House (cannot manipulate the icing bag).
Who pleas for patience... I will be answering mail SLOWLY the next few
weeks.
And yes, Jacqui, we receive around a dozen unsolicited "enquiries" per
week. Today's example: "We are trying to locate the following tiles, which
we know are manufactured in Brazil, if you are able to help us it would be
most appreciated. 15cm x 15 cm White Sculptured (Shade NF) wall tile, we
require 10 boxes (36 tiles to a box). The bar code if that is any help is:-
50306xxxblankety-blankxxx Many thanks" The last time I swore never to
answer another again followed an unsolicited enquiry about the former
Snowdonia Steiner School (my name/address was picked up from an archived
Clayart post) and other questions from prospective in-comers... Took me a
couple of hours to answer FULLY. No acknowledgement was received, never
mind a "thank you".

Oh... And BTW, Eckhard has come up with some sad New Year stats... The
International Potters' Path will take 20 years to complete at the current
rate of progress :-( But the first tiles representing Argentina have
arrived! :-) Finally ousted Australia from the top of the alphabetical Path
Makers list!!
