For my students I prefer your older recipe they need the "redness"
On the other hand the results might of been less good than expected because the
firing was too high ( I see the cones as a guideline for the NEXT firing.)

I think I added 7 tin not 7.5 sorry!
The results were pretty good.
This glaze looks different when thick and thin: I think ( almost sure) where it thick does
not melt good therefore kind of pink, white, where it is thin melts good and has the full
color.
About the last and best from my point of view I shall write
longer in the next letter about my new Wollastonite base. Here only the recipe and the
results:

I added 7 tin and .035 chrome


It is the first time that I got kind of Barium Matte purple without barium.

I tried to scan it with bad results: It is half way between violet and mauve.
