The easiest, fastest way to remove hot wax boo-boos is to scrape off
the offending wax with the edge of the dreaded thin flexible metal rib.
These ribs have sharp edges and are dangerous to use as ribs, but
perfect for this task. You can flex (bend) the rib between the thumb and
two fingers, which will make it conform to the curvature of a convex
surface.
You will actually be scraping away a little of the bisque-fired clay, since
it wall have absorbed the wax in its first millimeter or so.
It takes less than 5 seconds to remove an average drip.
