Saturday, February 8, 2003; 10:00 am - 4:00pm
Fee: $ 65.00

This one day hands- on workshop will focus on exploring ways in =
which pots can be transformed and made personal by the additions of =
handles, feet and other alterations and appendages. Participants will be =
asked to bring a dozen simple leatherhard, untrimmed pots ready to be =
finished. They will work=20
on and off the wheel, with both their own pots and the pots of others. =
Everyone will be asked to bring in examples of original and unusual =
applications of handles, feet, etc. - either photographs or pots that they =
have made or own, commercial pots included. Join us for a fun, collaborati=
ve experience that will help generate new, fresh ideas and a different =
perspective towards working.
Malcolm Davis has been a full-time studio potter since 1981 and =
has maintained his studio atop a mountain in West Virginia since 1985. He =

the rituals of everyday life. He has conducted many workshops throughout =
the U.S. and is the recipient of numerous awards and included in several =
