Recently I was accepted to graduate school at the Otago Polytechnic
University in Dunedin, New Zealand. Currently I reside in Boulder, CO.
Does anyone have suggestions to how I can find loans, grants or
scholarships? This is what I have looked into so far:

Stafford Loans - School is not recognized by the Secretary of Education
and therefore I don't quailify.

IEFC, the International Education Finance Corporation - The school is not
recognized by the corporation.

I have been looking at various websites for scholarships:

www.scholarships.com
www.fastweb.com

So far I have found little that I can apply for. So if anyone has any
ideas that might help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I am hoping
to change my life with a future in ceramics as a artist and a teacher, I
hope.

Thanks for your help.

Brad,

Go/call to your local library and ask them if they have books on
scholarships etc. I was just perusing that section at my library. Plan on
spending a lot of time there; it can be frustrating as there is little for
the arts. If you have a particular school in mind, just write to them,
include a SASE, and ask for a package that would include all their
opportunities for financial aid etc.

Good luck,

Fabienne
