wax resist...the next generation?

updated wed 4 dec 02

I need a wax resist type product that can be corrected.
Either carved off when a mistake happens or some other means of erasure.
I need it to stick to greenware as well as bisque.

Wax resist doesn't work...no option for corrections.
Liquid frisket doesn't work it dries fast and won't cut easily even with a
sharp exacto blade.
Masking tape works for bisqueware but not greenware and it takes too long.

There must be some kind of product out there that can be painted on, hardens
and then can be cut and peeled off or carved off. If not I'm going to invent
one!!

Any ideas?

How about Duncan's Mask and Peel? I just saw it at my ceramics store today.

Have you tried latex resist? I don't have a lot of experience with it,
but supposedly you can peel it off. Wanda

James Watkins uses the blue painters tape for much of his work. I saw him
using this tape at a workshop several years ago up in Junction, Texas.
