When I posted the modified formula for the 5 x 20 glaze from the
book "Mastering Cone 6 Glazes" I was so excited about sharing my
results that I totally forgot that Ron and John has asked Clayart and
those reading their book to not publish the glaze formulas contained
within. I recklessly did this.

I value intellectual property but more I value the time and effort
that went into the research on these glazes. They should be handled
and fired exactly how both Ron and John describe in their book or the
results could come out less than the spectacular glazes that they are.
This results in bad advertisement for them and their book.

Again I humbly appologize for publishing the recipe.

My lowered firing of the clear 5x20 glaze was on purpose, with full
knowledge that the results would be less than perfect. I like things
that crawl and the textured three-dimensional effects of this
crawling. I would not advocate that people do this and then assume
that the glaze has the same absorbtion rate or leeching rate as the
same glaze recipe from "Mastering Cone 6 Glazes."

Again, I COULD NOT MORE HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
