I couldn't begin to walk you through, but you can download Skutt's
Operation manual from http://www.skutt.com/support/op-man.html . It has
detailed instructions for programming their Kiln Master controller.

I do not seem to be able to track and
figure out how to control the skutt electric kiln
with the computer controls...touch pad...

could someone walk me through the bisque,
candle and then ramp to temperature phase.....

I need the step by step setting sequence...
of the kiln master controls....
my goal is to candle for sixteen hours...
I teach and want to start the candling process at
the end of my teaching day....so 4 pm...
and to begin firing the next morning at
8 am...I need help with the controls to fire
the kiln in that process....

Controllers have two modes of operation: Cone-Fire and Ramp-Hold.
To do a candling, most controllers require a separate "segment" in
the Ramp-Hold mode. Some people never venture out of the easier
Cone-Fire. However, Ramp-Hold is not at all difficult.

The only difficulty in doing a Ramp-Hold firing is in planning the
firing. You will need to plan it on paper.

Instructions are fairly universal between the different brands of
controllers, because most electric kiln controllers sold in the
U.S. are made by Bartlett Instruments.
