I just happen to have this info at my finger tips because I had sent it to
someone else just a few days ago. Hope it's what you're looking for.

I checked my bookmarks and the one site no longer exists. This is the only
one in my bookmarks that comes up
http://www.duke.edu/~msm5/pictures/treadle_plans.html. It's for making
your own - if you are into that sort of thing.
Here is a guy who makes them http://www.wavesofgrain.com/leachwheel.html
And here is a site that shows the assembling of the wheel
http://www.negentropic.com/clay/process/treadlewheel.shtml
I haven't looked lately, but there used to be ads in Ceramics Monthly for
Leach wheels.

Both Holden and Cardew have plans....but what does he plan to do? I have
never seen a treadle wheel that runs on its own--I am sure that is the wrong
term-- but that runs without the treadle being actively operated. Does he
plan to throw?

HANG IN THERE. I do not see how he can make a treadle wheel that does not
need to be operated by foot. I do not know anything about the Lockerbie
wheel. But treadles are hard on the legs. Has he thought about a motorized
kickwheel?

Lili----the old fashioned sewing machines had foot activated
treadles....requiring ankle motion rather than knee bends-----and he did
have a motor on his Lockerbie----I bot it !!!!
So he's eccentric--- better than no ideas!

Indeed they did--and those treadles were attached to belts and wheels. I
own such a sewing machine base, and while they do use the ankle, they are
not as knee-free as you might suppose. Have him check out if he can do
that--someone still has one of those wheels in use. If not a seamstress an
old shoemaker...
