my former pottery teacher, kit cornell, has the opportunity to purchase
a Marathon/Brent car kiln, manufactured in 1980. it is a fiber kiln,
model no. 34/20, with 20 cubic feet of stacking space. she asked if i
would ask this list if anyone has experience firing this kiln. she also
asked about protecting the fiber, and i mentioned that people love ITC
coatings, although i have no personal experience with them.
she would appreciate any information about both the kiln and ITC
coatings. she does not have access to clayart, so messages should be
