I have had one of these for several months, and find that it preforms
well. However I am finding that I wish I had shelled out the extra cash
for the "captains wheel" style handle, as I work large at times and find
that the crank style handle is cumbersome. While scrounging through my
voluminous metal scrap heap behind the shop the other day, I found an old
30inch in diameter aluminum wheel type thingy. Seems to be perhaps a base
for a outdoor "picnic" umbrella, or some such. Who knows. Ah, the
mysteries of the scrap heap. Such treasures. As with so many of the un-
named items in this collection, I have no idea where it came from. Been
growing it for years. (the heap that is) Well, whatever it was/is, I think
it may make a lovely slab roller handle! Have turned it over to my good
buddy local
TIG welder for specified alterations. Maybe trade a pot or platter or
whatnot for his services.

I would be interested in feedback regarding crank style handles vs. wheel
style handles on these rollers. Thanks. I want ya all to have a great
day! Later.
