a worthwhile book

I recently came across a new book (at least new for me) at our regional library and find it most enlightening. Enough that I intend to buy a copy. It is "The Ceramic Glaze Handbook" written by Mark Burleson. His writing is very clear and the book has many diagrams and lists which explain many things clearly. For people like me who can't add over ten without taking off my shoes, it really seems helpful in mixing and understanding glazes.

It is an interesting book, but you want to make sure you get a copy
from the second printing. The first run had some serious errors
that were corrected.

I've found that in general, Lark Books are very useful, educational, and
beautifully presented publications. Mark Burelson's book, The Ceramic Glaze
Handbook is no exception. Lark Books was most responsive in sending the
corrected edition to replace the original. In my opinion, Burelson's book
design, layout, photography and glaze information are highly professional and
user friendly, and I am happy to have it in my clay library.

Yes, it is good to find out, others think the same.
I have this book, and the glazes I made from the recipes of
this book, came all out good.
So is very reliable, clear and easy to use.
