Lily et al,

I spent about an hour last week playing with little patties of clay, =
writing my initials every which a way with a stylus. Great fun. My =
wife was hand building herself a little dragon sitting up holding its =
tail, and I was playing 5th grade, trying to make my thj look cool. I'm =
going to bisque those pieces and others I put handles on. I will have =
several personalized stamps and masters for making sprigs, etc. I have =
already started using a 'signature' stamp to help affix handle ends on =
some of my pieces. The best thing is when I get tired of those, I'll =
chunk 'em and make some more. Free. Free. Free!

Taylor, in Waco where the golden goose died a LONG time ago.

Too blushmaking. Go to your hairdresser ask for a bobby pin. The loop =
end
makes a lovely tool. Go to a restaurant and ask the barkeep for a wine
cork. Stick the ends of the bobby pin AWAY from the loop into the cork =
and
epoxy in. Or find an old pen holder and work with that. Dead ballpoint
pens with the cartridge removed also work.

By the way; knitting needles and crochet hooks--often avaiable for =
pennies
at thrift shops make very nice tools.

By the way. You can write your name as you like it in a piece of =
plaster.
Allow to dry. Then impress the name with a piece of soft, grogless =
clay.
Make a dear little handle, dry, fire, and you have a name stamp with =
your
penmanship on it...
