and Long Beach Island

Dear Clayarters,
I am back from my residency at Archie Bray. It was great working with so
many energetic and talented clay people.
I am having trouble getting back onto clayart, so this is not from a
subscriber yet!
I am about to drive to east coast for some workshops. I am having an
exhibition with Adelaide Paul, Susan Schultz and Sue Tirrel at Hood
College Frederick, Md. opening Oct.18. My workshop there is 19 and 20.
(I am going to celebrate my parents 60th anniversary while in the East!!)
I am also doing an architectural Ceramics workshop at Loveladies on Long
Beach Island. I do hope to meet some Clayarters while I am there.
My workshop in Italy is falling together and I hope to get a website up
before Friday. I will send Clayart information on that. The dates are
May 23 in Pisa to June 7. Maximum enrollment is 14.
Naturally the 2 week workshop in Italy will cover more than the 2 day
workshops in US but it also is a trip to Europe with lots of vacation
type of activity included such as trips to Florence and Siena, San
Gimgnano and other sites. Food during the workdays is provided by an
excellent Gourmet Tuscan cook, Christina.
Since I will be away from my computer most of the time I am in the
east...Oct. 11-Nov. 21, I will have a difficult time responding to
inquiries. Anyone interested please contact me at this email address.
I will keep trying to subscribe back onto Clayart for the next few days.
Anyone in the area of Frederick, Md. please come to my lecture on
Friday, Oct. 18 to hear about Italy as well as how it influences my
work. Hope to see some Clayarters there!!! Please identify yourself to
me. I also have lots of family coming too. very excited about this
event.Best wishes,
