Hello,

I am appreciative of all the web sites that are being
posted or tagged as signatures at the end of the
posts. I try to tour several sites a week simply in
order to learn about the potter and to admire the
works.

This week I went to Rush's Pots and Steven Lee's where
I took in many views of some unqiue work. Steven that
is a pretty turquoise you have there! Rush, your
carving reminds me of Peter Jako and that is a
compliment. I used to do some pottery with Peter and
he was into making massive pieces with heavy carved
features. He latter went back to teaching college
pottery and sorta slid outta site again.

Even though at times some views get tangled up in here
over trivial matters it still is a great place to
learn, visit, educate and take in some chair side art
tours via the modem and screen.

Also I will mention that IMHO there is a fine line
between marketing and making any statement in regards
to ones creativity or product. If it gets mentioned,
that opens the door to curiosity and people by nature
are just that, curious! It would be hard pushed to say
who is right or who is wrong. That would be akin to
wondering who the rightful mayor of this forum is at
times based on some postings. Allowing ample room for
those in discovery leads to adventures worthy or my
time. I know it doen't answer the quest for others!
Too often people are lead to believe that something is
much more than it is. Hashing it out in an adult
manner usually gets to the bottom of it. Of course the
'KEY' adult manner would not be to flame the person or
products in question.
