Oh, Charles! You just spoiled everything! Here we have a lovely tile made
by Valice Raffi for The Path, with Sacramento city skyline, the mountains
in the background and rice fields in the foreground and now you go and tell
me it is really the sacred tomato capital of California? Pooh!

Janet Kaiser - feeling quite skittish in this remarkable Indian Summer!
Even the sparrows under our roof have just started another brood and it is
too dry for mushrooms! Eat your heart out! No cars growing green lichen
here this autumn and here I am at 3 a.m. in teashirt... I guess summer is
just about six weeks late. We had the heating on to mid July, so that is
about right.
