mosaic tiles, test tiles

This sounds like it would work.I use a similar process of scoring
and breaking apart after high firing with my test tiles.
I roll a slab and cut a tile the length of 2 tiles. Score it
about 3/4 of the way through, half way down the tile. I then fold it
along the score, make about a 30 to 45 degree angle and stand it
upright( like a tent) to fire once the glaze is applied. This gives
me the effect of the glaze test on an upright vessel. After firing
I snap them apart to give me 2 flat test tiles (different glazes on
each) and they fit in my test tile boxes easier or if a hole was put
in them one can hang them from the glaze bucket of one of the
winners.
