Not having had a chance to handle a pot surfaced with this style of =
glaze I would like to know if the term "Mother in Law" is used in a =
respectful or derogatory way.
I ask because, as a child I, was brought up in an era when "Mothers in =
Law" were the butt of disrespectful jokes given by music hall comedians.
Best regards,
Ivor.

I must say, I was surprised to see the actual infamous mother in law blue
plate. The blue itself was not nearly as horrible as I had been imagining
(and I thought the intestine was a nice touch).

andi in showery San Diego (bring your umbrellas and raincoats just in case
-- it is the rainy season -- and we are getting some much needed rain this
year).
